Parent-Teacher Association (PTA)

The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is a key part of the school system, consisting of selected parents and teachers representing each class. The PTA meets regularly to share suggestions that help improve school administration. Members contribute valuable academic and administrative viewpoints as a free and important service. PTA meetings are held after cycle tests and assessments to discuss feedback with parents, support student progress, and address concerns.

School Management Committee (SMC)

The School Management Committee (SMC) plays a vital role in creating awareness and encouraging parent participation in school development. It helps build a supportive learning environment and promotes continuous dialogue within the community.

Positive indicators such as improved enrolment, better retention, active community involvement, proper use of grants, co-scholastic activities, and social audits highlight the SMC’s efforts. Members are empowered to strengthen these functions.

Our school conducts SMC meetings twice a year, in April and November. Minutes of the previous meeting are reviewed, and the Principal presents plans for the new academic year, followed by approvals from SMC and parent representatives.

Sexual Harassment Committee (SHC)

In order to review the incidence of sexual harassment or gender disparities, the SHC meeting will be held once in three months in our school campus with the members headed by the chairperson. The committee ensures the safety and security of children from any physical abuse.

The committee will also invigilate whether any emotional abuse is happening in the campus to the children.

Continuous counseling and sensitization programmes are organized by this association on topics such as the “Ill effects of drugs”, mobile de-addiction, etc.
